TeslaRent.App — Terms of Use
Effective date: [date these Terms are first published]
1. Who we are and what these Terms cover
TeslaRent.App is operated by YBC USA LLC (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). Our mailing address is 651 N Broad St, Suite 201, Middletown, DE 19709, United States. Contact us through our contact form.
These Terms govern our website and the submission of renter requests, vehicle-owner inquiries, and related preferences. When you affirmatively accept these Terms and submit an inquiry, you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not submit an inquiry.
Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information. It is a notice of our practices, not consent to unrelated marketing or a waiver of your privacy rights.
TeslaRent.App is an independent pilot and is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by Tesla, Inc. References to Tesla vehicles and features identify the products being discussed.
2. Inquiry-only pilot; no booking or payment
We are researching interest in monthly Tesla rentals in Silicon Valley and potential vehicle-owner partnerships. The website lets you express preferences and ask us to consider a possible match.
Submitting a form does not reserve a vehicle, authorize a payment, purchase insurance, establish coverage, accept a vehicle into a program, or create a rental, lease, management, agency, or partnership agreement. An acknowledgment email confirms receipt only.
The pilot does not collect rental payments or security deposits. We do not guarantee a match, launch date, vehicle availability, acceptance, or response deadline. A vehicle selector is not a statement that we possess or can currently supply every configuration shown.
Any actual rental or owner arrangement would require separately disclosed terms, applicable eligibility checks, and a separate agreement before it begins. Those terms would identify the contracting parties and their responsibilities.
3. Eligibility and accuracy
You must be at least 18 years old to submit an inquiry. This is a website-submission requirement, not confirmation that you meet any future rental or insurance requirements.
Provide information that is accurate to the best of your knowledge, use contact details you are entitled to use, and obtain permission before submitting information for another person or organization. Tell us about material changes to an active inquiry.
Do not submit payment credentials, government identification, policy documents, Tesla account credentials, or other sensitive documents through the pilot forms or unsolicited email.
4. Prices, budgets, and requested features
Amounts expressly identified as target pilot rates are research hypotheses, not confirmed rental quotes or market-price guarantees. A price labeled “per 30 days” refers to that period, not necessarily a calendar month. “Pricing on request” does not mean that a vehicle or feature is free.
Your budget, preferred owner payment, or willingness to pay for an extra is an expression of preference. It is not an accepted charge, agreed payout, or promise that an offer will fit that amount.
Any actual offer must identify the applicable rental period, full required charges, taxes, mileage terms, deposit, coverage arrangements, and optional extras before you decide. Nothing in these Terms permits misleading advertising or the omission of disclosures required by law.
Requested model years, seating, range, trim, delivery, additional drivers, connectivity, app permissions, and driver-assistance features are not guaranteed. They must be checked for the particular vehicle and arrangement. A trial or subscription may not remain active for the proposed rental period.
Autopilot and Full Self-Driving (Supervised) are driver-assistance features. FSD (Supervised) requires active driver supervision and does not make the vehicle autonomous. Requesting a feature does not authorize unsafe use or replace the driver’s responsibilities.
5. Insurance and protection preferences
Insurance and protection questions are research questions, not an insurance application, coverage determination, policy sale, or election to waive coverage. No policy or protection product is issued or bound through these forms.
Having personal auto insurance or credit-card benefits does not establish that the particular vehicle, rental structure, use, drivers, or full rental period would be covered. Any applicable coverage must be confirmed before a rental begins.
We do not promise that protection will be available or that a vehicle owner’s policy covers rental activity. Any future protection option would need its own explanation of provider, eligibility, price, limits, exclusions, deductibles, and claim responsibilities. Insurance and contractual damage waivers are not necessarily the same product.
6. Vehicle-owner inquiries
An owner inquiry authorizes us to review the information and contact you about a potential arrangement. It does not authorize us to publish a listing, take possession of the vehicle, grant someone access, or rent it out.
Submitting a leased, financed, or managed vehicle does not establish permission to rent it. Before any arrangement, the relevant ownership, lender, lessor, insurance, and other restrictions would need to be reviewed, and any required permissions obtained.
Owner-reported equipment, subscriptions, condition, availability, and payment expectations are unverified until separately checked. We do not promise earnings, utilization, a minimum payout, expense coverage, or protection against damage, theft, or depreciation.
7. Communications and withdrawing an inquiry
We may send acknowledgments, relevant questions, and potential matches relating to your inquiry. If you provide a phone number and request a call, we may contact you about that inquiry.
A submission does not enroll you in a newsletter, unrelated promotions, automated marketing calls, or marketing texts.
You may correct or withdraw your inquiry, or ask us to stop routine follow-up, through our contact form. We may still respond to that request or send necessary security or legal notices. Data deletion is handled as described in the Privacy Policy.
8. Acceptable use and website content
Do not submit fraudulent inquiries, impersonate others, send spam, introduce malicious code, circumvent security, access others’ records, or disrupt the website. Automated access must not bypass access controls, misuse personal information, or materially burden the service.
Website materials are owned by us or their respective licensors and may be used to evaluate the pilot. No license to another party’s trademarks or intellectual property is granted beyond what applicable law permits.
You retain your rights in information you submit. You permit us to use it only as reasonably needed to evaluate and respond to your inquiry, operate and improve the pilot, and fulfill the purposes disclosed in the Privacy Policy. Submission does not authorize public advertising of your identity or vehicle.
9. Website availability and responsibility
We may update, pause, or discontinue the pilot or restrict abusive access. To the extent permitted by law, the inquiry website is provided on an “as available” basis without a promise of uninterrupted or error-free operation. We will not knowingly misrepresent material information about an offer.
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising solely from use of this inquiry website, such as speculative lost income from a rental that was never agreed. This provision does not govern responsibility under any future rental or owner agreement.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where doing so is prohibited, including liability that cannot lawfully be excluded for fraud, willful misconduct, gross negligence, personal injury, unlawful handling of personal information, or violation of nonwaivable consumer rights.
10. Applicable law, changes, and contact
Delaware law governs these website Terms to the extent permitted by law, without depriving consumers of mandatory protections available under applicable law, including California law where applicable. Claims may be brought in a court with lawful jurisdiction. These Terms do not require arbitration or waive participation in a class action.
We may revise these Terms prospectively and update the effective date. Material changes will be highlighted on the website or communicated directly when appropriate. We will seek renewed acceptance where required; changes do not retroactively authorize charges or alter a separately signed agreement.
If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to the extent permitted by law. Our failure to enforce a provision on one occasion does not waive it generally.
