What we are doing
We are testing whether people who need a Tesla for a month or longer can be matched with local owners whose cars are available. Renters tell us the model, year, dates and budget they want; owners tell us about their car and availability. Any rental or partnership requires separate verification and a written agreement.
Why it is a pilot
The service is at an early stage. Prices shown on the site are indicative base rates we are testing, the models are preferences rather than inventory, and we have no rental office. We would rather be clear about that than look bigger than we are.
