Who a Model 3 may suit
A Model 3 is a practical choice for a daily commute between peninsula cities, San Jose and San Francisco, especially if you mostly drive alone or with one passenger. It is a sedan with a trunk rather than a hatchback, so if you are moving in with bulky items or travelling with a family, the Model Y may be easier.
The widest year range in the pilot
Model 3 requests can span from 2017 to 2027, which gives the most room to trade age for price. The form groups years as 2017–2020, 2021–2023, 2024–2025 (refreshed design) and 2026–2027, plus “any year / not sure.” Being open to more than one group can make a match more likely.
